A Guide to Bean Bags for Your Home

The popularity of Bean Bags is on the increase. In these days of recession when staying in is the new going out, people often find that they need to have more flexibility when it comes to seating arrangements in the home, especially if you have to entertain unexpected guests during the holidays.

There are many different types of bean bag, from small ones for the kids to extra large bean bags to those who are serious about their comfort. Large bean bags in particular are extremely versatile, and can be used indoors or outdoors as either a comfortable bean bag chair, or an impromptu guest bed if somebody needs a nap.

For those of you that are into video gaming then the is a specially designed range of bean bags just for you. These Gaming Bean Bags (as they are known) are designed with added support for the back and neck, often with specially inserted side panels that allow for a more sturdy design, but still maintain the bean bag’s ability to mould to the contours of your body. The gaming bean bags at the higher end of the scale can come with built in features such as surround sound speakers which give the gamer a more immersive gaming experience.

Interior designers often recommend bean bags an easy way to give an otherwise sparten room a little warmth. Scatter a couple of brightly coloured bean bags across the floor and the room immediately becomes more inviting, and given that they are available in such a wide range of styles and colors then you are certain to find a bean bag to suit any style of room (so long as its not too old fashioned). They are easy to clean as well, with most of them made from tough, pre-treated fabric that is fire resistant and just requires a wipe down with a damp cloth if they get dirty.
